THEIR OWNER RELOCATE ON APRIL 26th
AND HAVE BEEN LET DOWN AT LAST MINUTE
Due to present owners relocating
and reluctantly unable to take them.
They are rescue cats in fine health, the best of
friends, two and a half years old, and Dexter (stripey)
in particular is very cuddly and affectionate. Crosby is
more independent, but when you are honoured with a cuddle
from him he has the softest fur like velvet.
They are neutered and up to date on all their inoculations
(we take them to The Vets Place in Wilmslow.
Please get in touch if you feel you could give

Cats
Protection (CP) formerly The Cats Protection League, is
the UK’s oldest and largest feline charity, actively helping
and rehoming cats all the way from the Shetland Islands
in the North to Falmouth in the South West.
Our
work involves the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of
needy cats and kittens. We provide shelter, food and veterinary
attention to all in our care until we can find them a home.
We maintain a strict non-euthanasia policy - cats are never
euthanased, except on veterinary advice.
Over
the last 75 years, our organisation has experienced phenomenal
growth, reflecting the fact that the cat is now the UK’s
favourite pet, with 7.7 million domestic cats. CP has a
large voluntary branch fostering network and 30 premanent
Shelters. Ninety percent of our work is carried out by a
dedicated network of 5,000 volunteers who spend over 6 million
hours each year on cat care.
The
Macclesfield branch of Cats Protection is one of over 250
voluntary branches which operates tirelessly day and night
on behalfof
the nation’s cats and kittens We are essentially
self-sufficient, dependent on funds raised locally to care
for the cats and kittens that we rescue.
'Unfortunately
Macclesfield Branch of Cats Protection are only able to
help cats within Macclesfield
and surrounding area,We cover the following postcode area's
SK
9 SK10 SK11 SK12
However,
we can advise people where to go for help,
be it Cats Protection groups in other areas or other sanctuaries'
OUR
MAIN AIMS ARE
1:
TO RESCUE STRAY AND UNWANTED CATS AND KITTENS,
REHABILITATE AND RE-HOME THEM WHERE POSSIBLE. 2: TO ENCOURAGE THE
NEUTERING OF ALL CATS AND KITTENS THAT ARE NOT REQUIRED
FOR BREEDING. 3: TO INFORM
THE PUBLIC ON THE CARE OF CATS AND KITTENS.
We
are always in need of some extra help one way or another.
It is only to be expected that the committee should do most
of the general running of the branch but there are areas
where non committee members can help.
